Is This The End?

Golden State heads in to tonight's game at Houston with a 3-2 lead in the "Best of Seven" series.  However, could this series be over after the announcement that Kevin Durant is now out?  KD has no doubt been the difference in building this advantage, and Steph Curry isn't 100% healthy.

In what feels to be a "made for TV moment", at worst, this series between two hated rivals will go seven games.  If Chris Paul continues to get under the skin of the Warriors; who is there to fight back?  Not KD, and if Draymond Greene is baited, then watch out.

We've asked over and over again what was the storyline of the NBA playoffs;  "could anyone beat Golden State" or would ultimately "Golden State beat themselves with all the chatter?"  With Houston down 3-2, here is the Rocket's chance.

If Houston can't overcome this deficit without Kevin Durant, what will that say about the Rockets in the grand scheme of things?  As Bill Parcells so eloquently stated... "you are what your record says you are".  The Rockets will go down as a failure, what they are in my opinion anyways.  James Harden gets away with bloody murder, then fakes injuries to his advantage.  And like every year, the Rockets just fade, forget burning out!!

James Harden is the simple reason I will pull for Golden State to close this series and expose the Rockets and Harden for the fraud both actually are.  You can show me the stats, all I care about is the rings, and Harden and the Rockets have neither.

So don't go away mad, just go away.  Golden State in seven over Houston.
