Fox Sports college football analyst Urban Meyer has revealed he recently tested positive for coronavirus, which prompted the sidelining of the entire on-air cast of the network's "Big Noon" pregame show last Saturday.

The 56-year-old Meyer, who stepped down as Ohio State head coach after the 2018 season, told a CBS affiliate in Columbus that he tested positive, but none of his coworkers did.

“I’ve just recently gotten over it," Meyer said. "I was relatively symptom-free, I tested positive and that’s why we couldn’t do Big Noon Kickoff last week. The good news is none of my partners and teammates had it, and we’re going to be back at it this weekend.”

Meyer and co-analysts Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Brady Quinn and host Rob Stone were absent from last week's broadcast in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state of California, where the show is shot.

In the absence of the regular cast, Fox had familiar faces from other programs fill in. The crew of substitutes was led by host Charissa Thompson and featured analysts Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw and Emmanuel Acho.
