KBO's NC Dinos has everyone envious of their giant trophy sword
This ain't no piece of metal.
Not often does the winner of the KBO make waves in America, but the DC Dinos did just that.
The Dinos won the Korean Series with a 4-2 Game 6 win over the Doosan Bears for the organization’s first KBO championship, which was celebrated with an epic, giant sword that looked like it belonged to The Mountain from "Game of Thrones."
What is this sword and why are they raising it?
The Dinos are owned by NC Soft, a Korean video game company known for its multiplayer online role-playing games such as Guild Wars and Lineage. In Lineage, there is apparently something called the Execution Sword, which NC Soft made a replica of and presented the team for their championship victory, according to Kotaku.
Obviously, this sword caught the attention of many on Twitter.
Perhaps the sword should replace the actual KBO trophy.
