James Harden trade to Brooklyn Nets shifts NBA Championship odds
Reed Wallach
January 13, 2021 - 5:18 pm
James Harden had his longstanding wish granted on Wednesday afternoon as he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets for a massive haul of picks and players.
The Nets are now equipped with Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Irving has missed the last four games due to personal reasons and could be out for the foreseeable future.
However, the three form one of the most devastating offensive trios to ever share the floor. FanDuel Sportsbook quickly moved the Nets odds from +600 to +270 upon the Harden news.
The Lakers remain the favorites to repeat as champions at +260, while the Los Angeles Clippers stayed at +600, and the Bucks moved from +500 to +700 upon the news that Harden is now in the Eastern Conference.
