The 2020 College Football season wrapped up last night as Alabama won the National Championship.

As it happens every other season, as soon as the game ended multiple columnists and publications pushed out their Top 25 teams for the 2021 season and the Georgia Bulldogs were atop many of them.

The defense of Georgia being in place for a national title run is an easy one after the news they received since beating Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl.

Multiple UGA players announced they would return and also with the mindset and hashtag of #UnfinishedBusiness.

Along with QB J.T. Daniels and WR Kearis Jackson, Georgia also will see the return of DT Jordan Davis, OL Justin Shaffer, RB James Cook, LB Jamaree Salyer, and LB Adam Anderson among others.

Along with the recruiting classes Kirby Smart has put together, UGA should have all the talent necessary to make a run at the SEC and the national title.

Of course this isn't all about what UGA has coming back, but also about who UGA's competitors don't.

You can expect Florida to take a step back in the SEC East after losing Kyle-to-Kyle as Trask and Pitts are both headed to the NFL.

For Alabama, even if Mac Jones returns as many expect him to do, the loss of Heisman Winner DeVonta Smith and RB Najee Harris leaves the Crimson Tide with many questions on offense.

Clemson and Ohio State will both watch their quarterbacks go in the first round of the NFL Draft and will have to start over on offense, especially Clemson as RB Travis Etienne is done as well.

For the first time in the Kirby Smart era, UGA has fewer questions to answer than just about any program expected to compete for the national title. The biggest question now is will they ever reach their potential.
