Carson Wentz's Season In Jeopardy
December 14, 2018 - 6:51 am
Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback, Carson Wentz, has a fracture in his back.
The injury is expected to fully heal if Wentz is allowed time to rest. He has yet to be ruled out for any period of time.
Wentz is no stranger to injuries. Last season Wentz was replaced by eventual Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles, when he tore his ACL. Wentz also missed the first few weeks this season while recovering from the same ACL injury.
Team doctors will continue to monitor the fractured vertebra, and decide the best course of action for the franchise quarterback.
The Eagles (6-7) look to keep their playoff hopes alive this weekend when they play the Los Angeles Rams (11-2). Whether or not Wentz will play has yet to be decided.
